Yarrawa Hill - Luxury Retreat - Accommodation |
If you have ever wanted to sleep in a luxurious tree-house with Pacific Ocean views, come to Yarrawa Hill.
With its three self-contained suites you can holiday with friends & family whilst maintaining your privacy, or you can enjoy the whole house to yourself.
This unique holiday home in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales is perched on steel poles in the rainforest and has a spectacular view across the tree-tops to the sea beyond. As featured in "25 BEAUTIFUL HOMES" (Feb 2004) & "HIGHLIFE" Magazine Oct 2006 and "Beautiful Homes" March 2008
Located on the Illawarra Escarpment, amidst rain-forest and tall eucalypts, Yarrawa Hill is totally private & peaceful, ideal for a relaxing holiday or a stress-free weekend; it is less than 2 hours from Sydney CBD and Canberra. The only neighbours are wombats & wallabies, lyre birds & rosellas. The house, designed by architect Mark Jones of Nowra, consists of two linked pavilions on a steep North-facing hillside. The house sits in 156 acres of forest and paddocks, with parking right by the front door at ground level. An absence of stairs & the convenient walk-in showers make two of Yarrawa Hill's three suites handicapped-accessible. G3 reception is possible at the house. There are three decks, with remarkable bush & ocean views, a large paved patio & full gas & wood-burning barbecue facilities and a double car-port. Our nearest village is historic Robertson, (4 miles from the house) where BABE was made & the closest towns are Bowral & Kiama, each less than half an hour away. Bowral offers wonderful restaurants & Southern Highlands chic while Kiama has excellent swimming & a delightful seaside resort atmosphere. The Morton National Park, Carrington Falls, Barren Grounds & the Minnamurra Rain Forest offer outstanding walking, while numerous activities from riding to golf are locally available.
